Example of a Play Artificial Lawn Surface Installation

Artificial grass or artificial lawn at a school in CheshireHere is a good example of a Play artificial grass Installation in the grounds of a school in Cheshire. This was carried out by Paul Corradine Restorations Ltd in Northwich, Cheshire. I actually had the pleasure of visiting Paul on the site when this was being done and saw the thorough preparations he was making for the laying the artificial grass. Existing grass and earth was removed and a tanalised wooden from laid around the edges. Aggregate was placed and compacted, followed by compacted sand and then the surface was ready for the artificial lawn.

I had to leave before the synthetic grass itself was in place, but Paul Corradine sent us the photo shown here, and other photos that are in our gallery. This installation had a lot of joints, because there were numerous trees and artificial objects on the site that the grass had to go around, however by following the recomended installation procedure for artificial grass joints, they have an installation that looks fantastic.

It will be durable too - Play is an extremely hardwearing surface.
